Terms of Play
Short version: Clamor is an invite-only alpha of a work-in-progress game. It is free, nothing in it has real-world value, and everything about it can change. Playing means you accept that.
1. Invite-only alpha
Access to Clamor is by invitation during the alpha. Accounts, features, cards, and rules are provisional and may be changed, rebalanced, or removed at any time as the game develops. We may reset progress, close accounts, or end the alpha at our discretion. If that happens, we will try to say so plainly, but you should treat all alpha progress as temporary.
2. No real-money value
Gold, packs, wildcards, cards, and codes are game pieces. They cost no real money, cannot be bought or sold for real money, and have no cash value. Rebalancing a card you own, changing pack odds, or adjusting the economy is part of alpha development and not a loss of anything of value.
3. Fair play
Do not use scripts, automation, or API calls to farm rewards, disrupt the service, or interfere with other players. We may remove gold, cards, or accounts involved in abuse.
4. Your account
You need a working email address to play. You are responsible for the email account you sign in with. You can delete your Clamor account at any time from the settings gear; see the privacy policy for what that removes.
5. Our content
All card names, art, rules text, and game design in Clamor are original work and belong to Clamor's creator. Printing cards for personal play is welcome. Do not sell them.
6. No warranty
Clamor is provided as-is, alpha software included. We make no promises about availability, bug-free play, or preservation of progress, and we are not liable for losses arising from use of the game to the extent the law allows.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the game grows; the date above tells you when. Continuing to play after a change means you accept it.
